Compounding Carbon Nanotubes with Polymers (Fall 2008, Spring 2009)
Compounded carbon nanotubes with a polymer using a twin-screw extruder, pelletized strands.

Design and Fabrication of an Injection Mold (Spring 2008)
Designed an injection mold for an original part, and observed how products are created from conception to reality. Used CNC machining, Solidworks, Moldflow, and MasterCam.

Multi- Lumen Catheter Extrusion Die (Fall 2007)
Designed a tube extrusion die for the production of a multi-lumen catheter. Used Solidworks and rapid prototyping.

Animal Guard (Spring 2007)
Designed a plastic power line transformer cover to be installed by one person to keep squirrels from causing power outages. Required to be installed without turning the power off. Client/Sponsor: National Grid.
