Designed Data Acquisition System (DAS)
„h DAS acquired information from various sensors and displayed information to the user.
„h Wrote code for the matrix orbit¡¦s touch screen.
„h Integrated the DAS with the GHI electronics' uALFAT SD Board.
„h Wrote the key pad, and wrote the code for the option to view the datalog.
„h Wrote a function to print float values over Usart, as well as read strings back from Usart.
„h Utilized I2C so the pic18f4520 could communicate with the GHI electronics' uALFAT SD Board.
„h Wrote functions to save files to a SD card, to read back from a SD card, and to add a time stamp to the files.
Voice Recognition Device
„h Designed a Voice Recognition Device to distinguish between various voices.
„h Designed a series of analog filters that would be wired to a pic18f4550 so that each filter only allows a small frequency range and the pic18f4550 would saved the points from the person's voice pattern.
„h Utilized Fourier transforms to design the filters.
Acoustic Sand Sensor
„h Designed an Acoustic Sand Sensor that detects the amount of sand in oil pipes to prevent corrosion.
„h Used GHI electronics' uALFAT SD Board for data logging.
„h Created the software architecture in C18 programming language.
„h Implemented the Acoustic Sand Sensor's testing procedures.
„h Designed a heart monitor to detect a human heart rate using a light sensor that determines the oxygen levels in the blood.
„h Used a pic processor 18f4525 as the device's microcontroller.
„h Used LEDs to determine the oxidation level in blood.
„h Created an user interface in C# that communicated with the heart monitor over Usart.
