Direct and coordinate day-to-day aspects
of the operation for the herd in Mexico,
focused on promotion, advertisement,
livestock shows, and sales of cattle.
Evaluate financial statements, sales
reports, and other performance data to
measure goal achievement as well as to
determine areas needing cost reduction
and improvement.
Supervise and mentor more than 100
employees to develop their competencies
and achieve the maximum level of
potential. Ensure all cattle
requirements, such as medication, feed,
and others are available. Maintain
optimum performance of various
agricultural equipment and machinery.
Manage all aspects of soil preparation,
silage preparation, forage for cattle
including harvesting and sales of seed.
Handle whole herd management, health,
reproduction, selection, and breeding.
Establish a profitable partnership to
start a stocker bull calf operation.
Oversee all sanitary procedures required
by the state and federal government to
be able to operate a profitable stocker
bull operation. Periodically weigh
cattle and provide sanitary treatments
to stocker bull calves that are re-
sorted into groups, according to weight,
to achieve better results and increase
weight gain.
Oversee all areas of production from
acquiring the stocker bull calves to the
final sale.

Notable Achievements:

- Built partnership with HK Cattle
from Rosharon, Texas, USA in 2006 to
reintroduce and promote Red Brahman
Cattle in Mexico
- Instrumental in establishing a
foundation herd based on imported
females and began a very intensive
embryo transfer program to increase
numbers without compromising quality of
genetics
- Played a vital role in
detonating the resurgence of red Brahman
in the country
- Diligently supervised a total
herd of 2500 breeding age cows in the
commercial and registered cow calf
operations and an average of 2000 head
of feeder calves on the stocking
operation
- Provided expert oversight to
cattle ranches dedicated to breeding and
raising registered and commercial cattle
with a farms total area of 16,000 acres
- Conceptualized an innovative
strategy to adapt newer and more
efficient ways of production to cut down
cost in doing business and labor
required to achieve goals
- Instituted methods of improving
employee productivity and quality of
production
- Significantly reduced the size
of the registered operation while
simultaneously increasing the size of
the commercial herd, revenue, and cash
