Supervisory Security Officer

The primary responsibilities were to provide guidance and oversight toward the evaluation of performance; when necessary render training to subordinate security officer in assuring the safety of employees, visitors and vendors by enforcing strict access control procedures which were required as being assigned to a major area manufacturer/warehouse /distribution facility (Fresh Direct). The duties included but was not limited to the following:

- Conduct tours of the interior perimeter of the property
• Patrolled all floors and areas within space to insure the safety of employees and visitors, to insure compliance with all local fire and safety regulations, and to protect valuables, product, samples and prototypes. Inspect all locks and doors, and ensure the security of all keys.
• Inspected entire facility including pantries, showrooms and restrooms to ensure that no facility related hazards exist, i.e. flood, fire, power outages, elevator entrapment etc.

- Oversee all deliveries made to the warehouse/facility
• Monitored Contractors within corporate space to ensure compliance with our safety protocol.

• Access Control/ Visitor Management: ensured that all guests and visitors are adequately screened in accordance with corporate visitor policy.
