Expert die polisher of round dies and irregular shaped dies and tools. Daily use of bore gages, micrometers and calipers. Some experience using Zeiss CMM. Proficient in reading Japanese blueprints.
Responsible for a team of four polishers. Insure metal forming tools and dies receive the required surface finish. Maintain on time delivery of product by scheduling parts flow through department. Work closely with other team leaders, production control and sales department to determine parts requirements and lead times. Verify and enter post-production processing flow and processing times into production control software (JOBBOSS) for use by sales and management. Assist in material transport when necessary by forklift. Trained operator of Mitsubishi EDM wire machines.
