ARKANSAS NORTHEASTERN COLLEGE (11/02/2009 to present) Program Director and acting Department Chair for Medical Laboratory Technician and Phlebotomy program. Oversee spending of Department of Labor Grant for new program start-up. Develop program curriculum. Order instruments and supplies. Recruit and train students in program. Attend grant committee meetings and obtain NACCLS certification for program facilities, curriculum, and clinical rotations. Grant-funded position for three years.
ABBOTT DIAGNOSTICS DIVISION (10/01/2000 to 10/01/2002) Customer Support Specialist for USA - AxSym analyzer . Instrument support to include trouble-shooting of software and hardware, a full menu of bio-assays such as troponin and other cardiac markers, hormones, therapeutic drugs, b-HCG, etc., support of quality control assurance related to interpretation of controls and standards
INTERSTATE BLOOD BANK (09/01/98 to 07/01/00) Quality Assurance Coordinator - Review of production, maintenance, and laboratory records to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies to include FDA, OSHA, and CLIA, and to follow Good Manufacturing Policies (cGMP’s).
