Responsibilities include school account management, building relationships with school board(s), principals, faculty, staff and students. Management of sales, service levels and sponsorship involvement to provide newspapers to classrooms at no cost to students, to enhance newspaper experience in the classroom and provide curriculum tools to assist teachers in all aspects of this program. Put together sponsorships for various programs. Create and work with marketing on ads for sponsors and programs that run weekly inside newspaper Fundraising under 501 c 3 to benefit local schools. Assist with event coordination for business relationship in the community. Third party sales to area businesses to increase circulation and to provide low cost advertising opportunities to local owners & shops. Group tours through facility engaging the public and private sectors with the makings of the newspaper and history of the family that owns the publications.
