Assist Project Managers in day-to-day project activities. Obtain pricing and order materials. Review shop drawings. Obtain demolition permits from the City of New Orleans. Complete pre- and post-demolition site evaluations. Prepare post-demolition assessments for final payment. Assist superintendents with surveying, site layout, and field activities. For July and August, worked as a laborer on a pipe laying crew. Assist Senior Estimator in preparing bids for a variety of projects, including BW Cooper and CJ Peete Housing Developments, New Orleans Lakefront Airport, as well as the St. Bernard Port Authority. Prepare quantity take-offs for materials, including drainage pipe and drainage structures, concrete and asphalt, stone and sand. Obtain subcontractor and material pricing.
