Objective:
I am looking for a permanant position in a moderate paced, people orientated company. I would like to try and find a position that would not only challenge me, but advance the knowledge and the skills that I already posses. I really enjoy Property Managment, and would like to base my career path around that particular field. I strive for perfection in every aspect of my life, and I believe that my knowledge, experience, and willingness to challenge myself would be a great asset to any orgnanization.

I am currently the Property Manager/ Leasing Agent for the Bicentennial Manor Apartment Complex in Junction City, KS. Bicentennial Manor is a Section 8/42 property, therefore, I am familiar with the Tax Credit Rules and Regs, HUD, KHRC, EPS, TRACS Compliance and the process's and paperwork associated with these agencies. I oversee all maintenance, housekeeping, outside contractors and capital improvments.I am responsible for the property's annual budget, bill coding,and financial collection.
Business Owner:
November 2001-November 2003
I owned and operated Creative Corner Childcare Center in Junction City, KS. I did all of my own accounting, bookwork, budgeting, and advertising. Not only was I the owner/director of the center, I also taught a certified preschool program.
Lead Preschool Teacher;
February 2000-November 2001
I worked in a preshool as a lead teacher for 3-4 year old children. I loved my job and after a year and a half was offered a directors position at a new location. Two months later, I took over the business.
Nail Technician
July 1997-November 1999
I enjoyed working in the nail salon. It allowed me to meet all different kinds of people, and to deal with many different types of situations. I believe that this job enhanced my social skills allowed me to grow as a person in the public relations field.


Education:
Property Managment Training;
I have certificates of completion from KHRC pertaing to Tax Credit and low income properties.
College;
I have attended and completed 32 credit hours at both CCCC and BCCC.
I am currently enrolling in K-state's online program and plan to finish my associate degree and begin a Bachelor's program in a major that is yet to be decided.


Affiliations:
As Bicentennial's Property Manager I am a member of the Junction City Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Geary County Landlords Association,


Skills:
I believe I have great communication skills, both verbal and written. I can type 65-80 words per minute. I have learned some bookkeeping and accounting skills. I have learned to multi-task and have become quite good at it. I am very creative and well organized. I love a good challenge, and enjoy problem solving.


Additional Information:
I am currently employed by a great company. If I was offered a new position that was of interest to me, I would have to at least give my current employers a reasonable amount of time to find a replacement for me.
