Production Worker (St. Augustine, FL)

Operate various fabrication equipment i.e. mills, punch presses, deburring wheels, benders, saws, specialty machines, turning centers, milling centers and hand tools
Inspect equipment daily to ensure proper safety devices are in place (i.e. guarding) and notify supervisor or foreperson of any safety concerns
Perform basic set-ups on equipment
Read and interpret various gauging equipment, ranging from digital calipers, micrometers, protractors and custom gauges
Visually inspect work piece before and after machining for defects
Maintain all records on job assignments in a correct and timely manner, on paper as well as in the computer.
Maintain Q.C. checks on the operation in process
Ensure that all scrap and waste material is disposed of properly
Dispose of all waste/scrap materials in proper containers
Heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) may be required depending on job
Education High school Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience Previous manufacturing plant experience a plus.
Knowledge of safety requirements within a manufacturing setting a plus

Attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, changing work environment.
Work with Limited Supervision
Able to repeatedly lift 50 lb.
