Job Description:
CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis. This individual oversees and manages the development and analysis of management reports to identify past and current trends in key performance indicators (KPIs). Analyzes KPIs and other metrics, highlighting unexpected variances and causes of such variances and reports to senior management. Develops models on an as needed basis to support current and ongoing business imperatives.

• Designs and develops management reports to monitor KPIs. Develops financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
• Analyzes current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of bookings, revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures. Monitors performance indicators, highlights trends and analyzes causes of unexpected variance. Provides performance improvement recommendations to management.
• Leads annual global Budget process across all business units
• Leads cross-functional efforts within finance to improve reporting, planning and analysis capabilities
• Analyzes the business unit’s performance to plan/forecast and recommends appropriate actions to ensure financial targets are met
• Provides EMC Financial Forecast & Updates
• Prepares quarterly Board slides, Eye on Performance, and attends Quarterly Board Meetings
• Coordinate Board of Directors package preparation
• Financial Reporting Improvements to drive the business
• Provides analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling assistance in support of the firm's objectives in the areas of decision support, and historical analysis.
• Performs other duties as required.

Bachelor's degree.
10 years of related experience with at least 3 of those years in a staff management capacity.

Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
