Wage: $15-16.00 per hour for 30-40 hours a week at 52 weeks a year
Location: 8338 - 18 Street SE, suite 338, Calgary, Alberta T2C 4E4
Expected Start Date: ASAP
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
 Provides outstanding food and beverage service to customers
 Resolve customer complaints regarding quality and service
 Collect cash, credit/debit cards or other payment from customers, also, balance cash and record sales
 Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food/drink
 Assists in the process of hiring of new staff, when necessary
 Trains and mentors new and current employees in workplace safety, sanitation and job duties.
 Responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the food service establishment
 Ensures that health and safety regulations as well as quality control standards are being met, in order to maintain sanitary environment and excellent food and service
 Performs daily inventory counts and keep records of both necessary and wasted supplies/stock
 Places orders to vendors for required supplies
 Approaches with the best possible solutions when encountered with potential conflicts/issues, such as customer complaints, shortage of stock/inventory, etc.
 Assists in the development process of company procedures and policies, when necessary

 Fast paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Combination of sitting, standing and walking, Standing for extended period of time, Attention to details

Position Requirements and Qualifications
 Secondary School Diploma is required; College diploma could be an asset
 Previous work experience (at least 1-2 yr) in food service/handling industry required
 Supervisory experience in restaurant setting/customer service will be an asset
 Ability to build and maintain good relationship with customers
 Strong organization and efficient oral communication skills
 Team player positive, reliable and motivated

 Morning, Day, Afternoon, Evening, Night, Weekend

 Vacation pay: 10 days paid vacation, or 4% vacation pay
