Job Summary



  • The Vice President of Sales will be a trusted member of the leadership team and be integral to the Company's continued success.

  • Reporting to the President, this individual will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of sales.

  • This will be a hands-on sales leader, who will be a revenue contributor along with defining the sales strategy, hiring/developing a national team, enhancing sales presentations, design pricing structures, review current contracts and craft value proposition to prospective customers.

  • This Vice President will be involved with marketing, sales, account management and identifying new revenue streams to deliver stellar sales results.

  • Collaboration with the executive leadership team will be essential to ensure a unified front on all areas of growth.


Responsibilities



  • Develop a national sales strategy with appropriate systems, processes and infrastructure, outlining full service offering while determining geography for respective sales territories.

  • Lead, develop and hold accountable a high-performing sales team which produces results.

  • Implement KPIs and appropriate reporting for all sales and marketing functions.

  • Lead all functions associated with marketing and sales in a strong, positive, collaborative culture in which client-centered service is paramount.

  • As a key member of the leadership team involved with establishing parameters around contracts and new opportunities for revenue growth.

  • Ensure sales and revenues goals are aggressive, achievable and tied to long-term objectives.

  • Meet revenue and profitability goals thereby creating value for the company.

  • Develop and maintain stellar client relationships and retention.


Qualifications



  • BA/BS degree is required with an advanced degree a plus.

  • 10+ years of consultative, enterprise software sales and sales management experience selling to healthcare, insurance, pharmaceutical or life sciences is required.

  • Been involved in growth from $10-$100M ARR with compelling progressive tenure.

  • Strong sales leadership experience related to understanding the customer, developing a team and organizing a clear and consistent strategy/message.

  • Successful track record of establishing and growing strong branding, marketing and sales functions at a national level.

  • Possesses a strong client list and relationships and is comfortable handling business development activities personally. Ideally has managed long term client relationships.

  • Knowledge of contracting strategy and execution along with proven strengths in directing all aspects of the sales process including negotiations is critical.

  • Proven ability to recruit, coach, mentor and motivate a sales team with hands-on support and guidance.

  • Financial acumen and a high motivation towards setting and delivering high service standards.
