Job Description:

Principal Purpose of Position: The scope of the position of Marketing Account Manager is to act as a relationship builder, facilitator and producer of Marketing Projects in collaboration with the Holman Marketing team for Holman Parts Distribution, Auto Truck Group and its subsidiaries, Holman Insurance Services, Steward Financial Services and Holman Strategic Ventures. The position provides a unique opportunity to participate in branding, naming and leading cutting edge products to market while representing the external brand for each business. Responsibilities include understanding business needs, evaluating requests and prioritizing tasks to reach company goals.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders from each business, at all levels
  • Hold quarterly meetings with senior leaders to discuss and review upcoming marketing initiatives and the reasoning behind them (travel required)
  • Create yearly marketing plan for each company that includes budget, using that budget to manage costs and explain variances
  • Partner with sales to develop programs and promotions which support sales initiatives
  • Review and evaluate internal client requests, using business knowledge and marketing savvy to then make a recommendation
  • Set and maintain project schedules
  • Lead team of Account Executives, delegating tasks and responsibilities by business to provide individualized and specific support
  • Oversee and retain freelancers
  • Manage expectations for the business on what is recommended, realistic, within budget and deliverable in adherence with the requested timeline
  • Accountable for the creation of promotional videos, renderings/photos, print materials, catalogs, printed ads, distributor sell sheets, etc.
  • Review marketing efforts, provide post-campaign reports to support adjustments with the goal of improving future effectiveness
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned

Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or other related science
  • Proficient with the Adobe creative suite

Relevant Work Experience:

  • 3-5 years of relevant marketing experience
  • 1-3 years of managing marketing efforts or team
  • Create marketing strategies designed to help grow the business
  • Work collaboratively with third-party contractors to deliver the best possible service and solutions
  • Delegate tasks to team of Account Executives while providing direction and support
  • Work independently on routine or general tasks, has depth of technical or functional expertise in own area of responsibility or department
  • Work collaboratively with each business and Sales department
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking ability
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Understanding of marketing strategies and market analysis
