Job Description:

Principal Purpose of Position: This role is expected to be a project manager, facilitator and producer of the projects assigned. The Marketing Services position will do as much creative work as time will allow and interface with, and coordinate, projects outsourced to designers and coders.

  • Evaluate and prioritize marketing tasks setting Marketing strategy for Kargo Master companies
  • Review and evaluate client requests and make a recommendation
  • Develop and maintain KM marketing budget, manage costs and explain variances
  • Set and maintain project schedules
  • Accountable for the development and maintenance of all KM websites
  • Accountable for the creation of promotional and instructional product videos, renderings/photos of KM products, print materials, W/D catalogs, printed ads, distributor sell sheets, etc.
  • Oversee and retain freelancers
  • Partner with sales to develop programs and promotions which support sales initiatives
  • Monitor effectiveness of marketing efforts, report out and make adjustments to increase overall effectiveness of the marketing efforts
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned

Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or other related science
  • Proficient with the Adobe creative suite
  • Photography skills preferred

Relevant Work Experience:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience either as a freelance designer or employed by a design firm/agency
  • 1-3 years of managing marketing efforts or team
  • Create marketing strategies designed to help grow the business.
  • Work collaboratively with third party contractors to deliver the best possible service and solutions
  • Works independently on routine or general tasks, has depth of technical or functional expertise in own area of responsibility or department
  • Works collaboratively with Sales department
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking ability
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Understanding of marketing strategies and market analysis
