The District Sales Manager is responsible for promoting and developing specifications for Ceco products to architects, owners, and contractors, as well as managing the Distribution Network’s sale of Ceco strategies to have Ceco products and systems incorporated in both new and retrofit construction. Through working closely with architects, owners, and contractors the DSM develops a preferred position for Ceco on these projects. The DSM is expected to develop high-level and strategic relationships within the firm they are calling on within the district. The DSM also works closely with the Ceco Dealers and customers to support their efforts to promote, bid and close work. The DSM needs to be a strong communicator, presenter, and influencer. The DSM is responsible to meet and exceed the sales goals established by the RSM and the Sales Management team.


Job Requirements:
Duties include:

Assessing market potential and identify new business opportunities
Maintaining key customer relationships, while developing and implementing strategies for expanding the company's customer base
Leveraging customer insights to identify business opportunities and strategies
Providing expertise to the company by building, developing and managing internal relationships to assist in carrying out the company strategies and tactics.
Tracking, managing and communicating sales forecasts and results
Developing effective relationships with key customers and multiple channels of sales
Managing day to day external sales activities including cold calling, qualifying key opportunities and winning business within the PA & NJ territory
Managing day to day internal sales including estimate preparation, blueprint reading, and lead management.
Track and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in the CRM system.
Meet or exceed all measurable sales objectives and quotas as defined in the KPIs
Conduct professional seminars and presentations to influencers including Architect, Contractor and Owner Clients.


Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study is desired; however, non-degreed candidates with requisite skills and experience will be considered.
A minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience is desired, preferably in pre-engineered steel buildings or other building materials
Experience with pre-engineered steel buildings and or building envelope construction, insulation and or exterior metal cladding product in a Sales, Estimating, or Project Management capacity is a PLUS
Must articulate a full understanding of the construction and specification process
Exhibit solid business acumen including the ability to interpret and analyze blueprints, estimate preparation, presentation and proposal
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
Strong organizational skills with aggressive follow-through and closing skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Must be able to travel as required in the PA & NJ territory to meet/exceed objectives and grow market
Must be highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook and proper utilization and organization of files/folders on a network
Candidate must currently reside in territory, or be willing to relocate into the territory within a reasonable time frame.
