We are looking for a Software Tester to assess internal software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs. In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications, and systems work correctly on the network.
Work scope may include any/all of the following duties:
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback
- Learn to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases
- Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Apply testing processes for new and existing features
- Communicate between teams (e.g. developers and product owners)
- Identify non-conforming software issues
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
- Attend Release Planning and Iteration Planning meetings
- Work in two-week iterations
- Review test plans and test reports

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
Knowledge, skills & abilities required:
Must be able to analyze data to identify problem areas for investigation
Must understand positive and negative testing
Software QA methodologies, tools, and process
Reviewing requirements and verifying testability
Automated testing specifically Selenium on the network
Desired Skills & Familiarities:
Participation in the Agile/Scrum software development process
Test management tools similar to Azure DevOps
Hands-on experience with grey box and black box testing
C# or Scripting Languages
Slack Communication Software
Physical requirements - Work is primarily sedentary. Some walking and standing may occur in the course of a normal workday in connection with travel to and from meeting and conferences. May carry light items, such as reports, data products, notebooks and laptops.
Work Environment - Cubicle environment is in a secure site.
Attendance - Must be able to work within the shift hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
With the exception of STD/LTD/FMLA & approved time off, attendance is considered essential. Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines.
Equipment and Machines - Standard office equipment and machines: personal computer, scanner, copy machine, telephone, printer, fax machine, and other office equipment including desk supplies.
Other Essential Functions:
Must pass drug testing.
Must be able to read and write effectively in English.
