Job Description:

Pharmacy Manager Services needed to perform the following duties:



Execute market research relating to over-the-counter products to determine the potential increase in sales.



Ø The Manager Service is primarily responsible for supporting operations and development of the pharmacy’s prescription reimbursement claim.

Ø Analyze the trends in the sales in order to evaluate the business model.

Ø Negotiate with buyers routinely to get the product at a reduced price.

Ø Evaluate the fast moving products according to seasonal demand.

Ø The Pharmacy Manager Service will be responsible for the maintenance and implementation of the claim engine’s various service offerings and the support of current clients.

Ø In addition, the Pharmacy Management service will support the drug claim review process including manual drug review, reporting, interaction with payers and providers, drug claim holds and rejects, and automated drug review rules development and maintenance.



Express pricing on over the counter merchandise according to requirements profitability of store operations.



Ø Estimate different marketing strategies to improve business

For Instance:

Ø By using illumination to feature products although create a frame display to provide the visual message about the merchandise offered in the store.

Ø Review customer explanations from the social media about product and service provided by the the wholesalers' in order to associate with the services provided by other retail pharmacies.

Ø Explore the competitive prices for fast selling items in the business neighborhood to invite more customers.

Ø Study the work problems and procedures for communication delay, information flow, inventory control and cost analysis



Keep operating records and proper daily record of transactions for accounting purposes as per the company’s policies.



Ø Generate daily prescription log to track daily revenue and to maintain the inventory of all the medications.

Ø Make daily reports for OTC card, Debit card, Credit card and cash to perform the analysis of the transaction for the financial report.

Ø Settlement of all files provided by different insurance companies to evaluate the pharmacy claims.

Ø Keep operating records and proper daily record of transactions for accounting purposes, Order merchandise and prepare requisitions to replenish merchandise on hand, Ensure compliance of employee’s security, sales and record keeping procedures, Answer customer complaints and inquiries.



Confirm compliance of employee’s security, sales and record keeping procedures as per the company policies. Evaluate staff performances and create performance review reports for the owner.



Ø Coordinate with the pharmacy staff scheduled and assisted with personnel observing and performance evaluations.

Ø Examination charts in order to comply with the facility formulary.

Ø Conduct competency and performance reviews for pharmacy personnel

Ø Consult with personnel of organizational units to discuss the business plans and identify problems.



Contribution the pharmacy staff in developing, implementing and monitoring company policies and procedures that reflect quality of health services by maintaining exceptional customer/patients relations. Moreover, ensure compliance of employee’s security, sales and performance review reports.



Ø Loyalty with ideal professional practices, promote compliance according to the state/regional regulations and accreditation requirements (e.g. HIPAA)

Ø Distribute each employ’s duties to exercise better judgment in specific situations of the work atmosphere and govern if any part of the policy or procedure need reform.

Ø Resolve the customer care issues and complaints.





Timetable employees and delegate work assignments to employees and utilize supplies to maximize the store profits.



Ø Recruit, train, tutor and motivate pharmacy technicians to ensure high levels of customer service and safety

Ø Commendably prioritize tasks and organize workflow to increase efficiency

Ø Supervise day-to-day pharmacy operations, including budgeting, achievement of business objectives, and minimizing wait time

Ø Address development opportunities and decrease knowledge gaps

Ø Recognize critical business opportunities and meaningful solutions to drive growth and improve performance in pharmacy

Ø Program staff in accordance with the determined budget so the pharmacy is always functioning at peak performance.



To maximize the store profits, participate in the development of short and long term goals of the pharmacy’s mission. Although, operate records for daily basis transactions related to account department and maintain the accurate control on store inventory and labor cost.



Ø Generate reports for the outcomes associated with the medication use process and review patient’s eligibility for medications to make an order according to the insurance requirements.

Ø Explore the statements from vendors, banking statement and bills, collect money, balance registers, and check daily receipts to maintain the pharmacy budget to maintain all store protocols and procedures.

Ø Participate in the development of new product line and confer with the personnel of the company’s departments to discuss upcoming business plans; develop and install new programs and provide procedures and methods for operations and maximize profits.

Ø Coordinate sales promotion activities and direct merchandise display, Review Medicare part D to make sure the eligibility of patients for medications and ordering of medications as per insurance requirements.


Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D or Management & Leadership.
