Position:
This position will be a liaison between business partners, IT solution architecture and delivery teams responsible for application design/development/QA/rollout SDLC activities and ongoing business support. The Business Analyst will have responsibility for one or more domains within the Retail Planning & Assortment Management function.

Success in this role requires business engagement skills with the ability to communicate effectively, build relationships and influence outcomes in a cross-functional matrix organization. Qualified candidates must possess the ability to translate abstract concepts into defined objectives, business requirements, business processes and functional specifications and an actionable product roadmap.

• Prior experience in Retail/Supplychain Technology, Omni Channel Planning initiatives.
• Business/functional experience
• Gather requirements, create mapping documents and work with development team to ensure delivery of the required data.
• Excellent communication and user interaction skills.
Responsibilities:
• The role will be assisting Direct to Consumer technology partner with the Supply Chain technology on their omni channel planning initiative.
• The candidate will need to understand the project objectives and gather data requirements, create mapping documents, and work with development team to ensure delivery of the required data.
• Establish collaborative and productive relationships with internal GIS department, business partners, external partners
• Articulate, assess and prioritize business requirements and partner with business/technology teams for successful delivery of these capabilities
• Own functional documentation including but not limited to requirements documents, product backlog, functional specification, business process documentation etc. for Omni channel planning & allocation
• Assist the business and enterprise change management teams to build and execute change management and training strategy for new applications
• Provide transparent/honest status and communication to business stakeholders and leadership.

Qualifications & Experience:
• 7 -10 years relevant experience in implementing/supporting business and systems processes, preferably in the retail industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or relevant business experience
