Job Description:
0729886 BC Ltd. DBA Mohawk located at 1258 Broadway Avenue South Williams Lake, BC, Canada V2G 1A2 is looking for fulltime and permanent Retail Store Supervisor to join their team as soon as possible.
Position: Retail Store Supervisor
Positions Available: 1
Job type: Full Time and permanent
Wage: $19.20 per hour for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: 1258 Broadway Avenue South Williams Lake, BC, Canada V2G 1A2
Job Duties:
• Assign sales workers to duties.
• Authorize payments by cheque.
• Authorize return of merchandise.
• Sell merchandise.
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters.
• Organize and maintain inventory.
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers.
• Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
Job Requirements:
Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
Language: English is required
Experience: 1 year of supervisory experience within the retail sector or at least 1-2 years of previous experience as a retail salesperson or sales clerk, cashier, telemarketer etc. will be considered
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Standing for extended periods.
Personal Suitability: Organized, Flexibility, Effective interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Team player, Reliability
Additional Skills: Order merchandise, Establish work schedules, Train or arrange for training
Other: Candidate should be willing to work on all shifts (evening & weekend).
