Job Title: Food Service Supervisors (NOC 6311)
Wage Rate: $18.00 per hour (40 hours per week)
Term of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Education: Completion of secondary school.
Vacancies: 1
Experience: 2 - 3 years of previous work experience is required.
Language: English is required.
Work Location: Unit 101, 12889 84 Ave, Surrey BC Canada V3W 0K5
Job Duties:
May plan cafeteria menus and determine related food and labour costs.
Establish work schedules and procedures
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from dieticians, patients in hospitals or other customers
· Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
Supervise and check assembly of regular and special diet trays and delivery of food trolleys to hospital patients
Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
Benefits: Overtime provided after 40 hours per week, 10 days of paid vacation, WCB coverage provided.
Work Setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day, evening or on weekends if required.
