Job Description:
Alaant is looking for an experienced Windows Infrastructure Engineer to join a leading IT provider in the Albany, NY area. The ideal candidate will be supporting the day to day operations by monitoring and troubleshooting hardware and software configurations, and documenting appropriate best practices. If you love to problem solve and have experience scripting languages and want to be part of a team where you are always looking for ways to strive forward, then this is a role for you! Our client also offers a generous salary and benefits package!
Successful Candidates will possess:
• 5 years experience with Windows Clustering
• Experience scripting languages preferably (PowerShell)
• Experience planning and managing large IT projects
• Experience with windows Failover Clustering
• Strong organizational skills
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Strong problem solving/analytical skills
