Job Description:

  • *** This position require 80% or more travel within the US, Alaska, Hawaii, CONUS


  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.

  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for the customer

  • Provide design, migration, implementation and deployment services / guidance

  • Contribute to the development of Bills of Materials for product quoting\ordering

  • Develop professional documentation, operating guides, high level and low level design documents



  • Conduct research on network products, services, protocols and standards to remain abreast of developments in the networking industry

  • Oversee/perform new and existing equipment, hardware and software upgrades



  • Work closely with Project and Services Management staff to exceed customer expectations while ensuring alignment with agreements

  • Responsible for installation, integration, support and configuration of the products and technologies listed below.

  • Responsible for consultation and design of solutions involving the products and technologies listed below

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, written & oral communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Visio is required

  • Design, install and deploy network infrastructure, wireless infrastructure and security appliances




REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:



The appropriate candidate will have extensive, recent, hands-on experience with the following minimum products\technologies. Experience must include solution design, consultation, migration, implementation, assessment, and troubleshooting. Appropriate candidates are highly skilled or Expert in the following areas:




  • Cisco Routing & Switching (CCNP level or equivalent skill and experience)

  • Cisco Wireless Configurations (CCNP level or equivalent skill and experience)

  • Cisco Security (CCNP level or equivalent skill and experience)

  • Deploying Cisco networks utilizing industry best practices



  • Experience in WAN/LAN and transport technologies (Ethernet, Frame Relay and MPLS).



HIGHLY PREFERRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:



Candidates with experience and capability in the following additional technologies will hold an advantage in the selection process:




  • Cisco Meraki wireless systems

  • ISE

  • Palo Alto Networks

  • Email Security Appliance (ESA) - IronPort

  • F5 - Load Balancers

  • NetScaler

  • Check Point technologies

  • Nexus



OTHER SKILLS OF INTEREST:




  • Juniper Networks

  • River Bed

  • Virtualization / VMware & Hyper-V

  • Storage Networks / SAN / vSAN / Software Defined Storage

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
