Requirement and Skills:
Completion of Secondary Education
Responsible Beverage Service Certificate (Serving it Right ) required
FOODSAFE certificate is an asset
Some hospitality industry education is an asset
2 years Serving Experience is preferred
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Exceed guests expectations by providing exceptional customer service and anticipating guests needs
Make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages to maximize food and drink revenue by employing strong sales techniques
Take orders and communicate with Culinary and Front of House to ensure quality of product and service is maintained
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading coffee, retail trade, and food service publications; maintaining personal networks
Participate in cleaning and other daily and weekly side duties
Properly complete cash handling and balancing procedures
Abide by basic beverage control and responsible serving standards
Be able to provide guests with information on Black Rock Oceanfront Resorts amenities, services, and events as well as information on the surrounding area
Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by the management team
Comply with all Black Rock Health & Safety and Security regulations
Strictly adhere to all Black Rock Oceanfront Resort policies and procedures
