Systems Engineer-FTL Job

As our Systems Engineer, you will:

• Complement a high-performance team for innovative solutions


• Participate in systems design to marry business needs with proper technology


• Ensure proper performance and availability are maintained at all times


• Ensure solutions are maintained for high availability, scalability, security, and supportability


• Manage and develop tools and processes for monitoring, reporting, and automation


• Take part in on call support rotation


• Continually learn, discover, evolve, and mentor

Skills and experience needed for the Systems Engineer position:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or equivalent experience


• Information systems certifications a plus (e.g. Network +, VMware Certified Associate)


• 3-5 years with UCS Cisco Blades and Hyperflex


• Understanding of web deployment and support for both Windows and Linux operating systems


• 3+ years of Nimble Storage iscsi and EMC


• Skilled in problem solving independently and as part of a team


• 3+ years of PowerShell or other scripting experiences/VMWare 6.5


• Strong understanding of server operating systems and infrastructure support


• Can use scripting language to accomplish moderate levels of business activities


• 3+ years of Active Directory and Web application support experience


• Must be detail oriented
