Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related discipline and 4 years of relevant experience. Four years of progressive/related experience can be substituted for the degree.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Four years' experience administering infrastructure support to mainframe and/or client server systems and/or DoD systems is required.
- Dependent upon local unit requirements, knowledge of networking hardware/software over classified and unclassified government networks may be required.
- Patriot Excalibur experience highly desirable.
- Operating flying and non-flying experience in training, Stan/Eval, scheduling, and readiness experience is desirable.
- Dependent upon local unit requirements, be knowledgeable on the core systems and database management and maintain control over certified PEX systems.
- Must have ability to interact with and provide timely support to government customers
- Air Force experience in one of the following backshop areas: Training, Stan/Eval, Scheduling, and/or Unit Readiness Tracking is highly desirable.
- Server Administration experience with Microsoft Server 2012 or Server 2016 required.
- System Administrator experience with SQL Server desirable.
- System Administrator experience with Microsoft IIS Servers highly desirable.
- Background in networking application knowledge to include Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and SMTP.
- Direct experience with computer and and network hardware components is highly desirable.
- Experience in DISA STIGs or securing computer/server equipment is beneficial.
· Must possess DOD 8570 level 1 certification (Security+) on hire date.
· Performance Work Statement (PWS) may define and require specialized training and/or Certifications in order to effectively satisfy work requirements.
Physical Requirements: Sedentary: involves sitting most of the time buy may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Work Environment:
Cubical environment in a confined/restricted work area.
Criticality of Attendance:
Must be able to work within the shift hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
With the exception of STD/LTD/FMLA & approved time off, attendance is considered essential. Must be flexible to support the customer. Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines.
Equipment and Machines:
Standard office equipment and machines: personal computer, scanner, copy machine, telephone, printer, fax machine, and other office equipment including desk supplies.
Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel required.
