Job Description:


HR Coordinator -Temp to Hire



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



1. New hire data entry for Dayforce and general backup for HRIS Analyst.




  1. Primary point of contact for Form I9. Reviews and approves form I9 and process new hires thorough E-Verify system to verify work status and follow up with associates who are on a workvisa on a monthly basis.




  1. Assists HR Manager in the administration, processing and maintenance of benefits, including health, life, disability, transit, FMLA, retirement, and health & welfare fringe reporting, with a particular focus on retail employee benefits.




  1. Reviews benefits package and enrolls new hires. Serves as primary point of contact for benefit enrollments. Processes monthly invoices and allocates accordingly.




  1. Allocate monthly department invoices.




  1. Creating security badges for associates.




  1. Coordinates interpreter services as needed.




  1. General clerical support for HR staff.





    1. Administration of associate files

    2. Filing

    3. Backup for employment verifications

    4. Producing monthly benefit packets for mailing





Other Duties and Responsibilities:




  1. Provides administrative support to the HR department by assisting with new hire orientation and other training initiatives as needed.




  1. Backup for data entry for background check process


    1. Criminal

    2. Drug screen





  1. Assisting applicants with online application process.




  1. Break coverage for receptionist (occasional).




  1. Occasionally travels to off-site locations relating to HR topics.




  1. Other duties as assigned.



Supervisory Responsibility:



This position has no supervisory responsibilities.



Required Qualifications:




  1. Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field plus two years related experience.




  1. Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office Suite. Must have experience using Excel tools (e.g. Pivot Tables, V-Look-up, and Formulas).




  1. High level of organization skills with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks simultaneously.




  1. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in typing.




  1. Excellent customer service and employee relations skills and the ability to work with staff of all levels.
