Senior Software Engineer

Job Description
Innovative requires a Senior Software Engineer with strong mathematical skills, preferably experienced in simulation and training modeling. The successful candidate will work with a small Agile team developing new simulation models for classified components and systems. Experience with Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) or other real-time data collection/sensor technologies and wireless communication technologies is a plus.

The ideal candidate would have strong Java/C++/C# skills, have worked within an Agile Development framework, and have simulation experience - especially in the area of mathematical modeling of physical systems.

Skills (Note where flexible)

• Strong Mathematical background


• Java, C++, C# - one out of three is OK, two out of three is good, all three is a plus). All 3 are "object-oriented", and "object oriented" is the important part


• Agile Development Methodology a plus, not necessary


• Simulation / Training "Modeling" a plus, not necessary. "modeling" here means "representing physical phenomena via mathematical equations"


• Signal Intelligence Experience a plus, not necessary.

Relocation Assistance
This is negotiable - we are flexible in that we could either establish a lump sum or possibly a monthly expense budget for some amount of time (~ 3 months) until the person settles into their long term living arrangement. Also will help with moving expenses. All work MUST be done onsite in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
