Job Description:

Reporting to the VP of Benefits & HR Systems, the Senior Benefits Analyst will assist, as required, in the administration, analysis and management of all of the Company's benefits programs to align with the company's total rewards objectives.


At the direction of the VP, Benefits & HR Systems or Manager, Benefits:

  • Conduct utilization, cost and market competitiveness analysis of benefits programs within the Company.

  • Complete plan modeling, cost analysis and review of market.

  • Review, reconcile, and analyze relevant Company benefit programs trends.

  • Provide information to HR management for planning and control information purposes by collecting, analyzing and summarizing benefit data and trends.

  • Assist in the administration of Company benefit plans - health and welfare and retirement.

  • Asist in the resolution of employee benefit-related inquiries from the Benefits Service Center and sources such as email and escalations.

  • Provide support in the administration of leave of absence programs to ensure compliance with Company policy and to analyze trends to ensure competitiveness.

  • Support certain aspects of COBRA administration as required by the outsourced vendor.


  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • CEBS preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.

  • Knowledge of state & federal laws that apply to benefits compliance.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally (on the phone, one-on-one, to groups) and in writing (emails, letters, presentations) to various audiences.

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and organize work, work independently, and make sound and defensible decisions.

  • Skill in organization, prioritization, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to adapt to adapt to changing organization and operational needs.

  • Strength in working collaboratively on a team with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
