Location: Mississauga, ON ( Dixie and Courtneypark )

Position Details:
Lead hands at our organization provide direction to forklift operators who are loading and unloading trailers of empty cans.
Lead hands also participate in loading and unloading on weekday shifts, and on weekends cover the desk and run the shipping office.
Computer skills required so they can learn AS400 and JD Edwards systems in order to produce shipping documents.
Good communications skills in order to communicate with drivers, send emails to customers.
Responsibilities:
Run floor by telling people in what order to perform tasks. Organization is key because we deal with 6 different customers and 3 different manufacturers whose schedules we must adhere to.
Qualifications:
Proven leadership skills
Finesse with handling delicate product, 2 years’ experience
Forklift experience a must
Computer skills with Windows Office Suite
Emphasis on safety
Compensation and benefits:
After completion of training for this position, up to $21 per hour

Other Details:
This position is for a full-time, permanent continental day shift lead hand.
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday X 12 hours per day for a total of 48 hours.
Week 2 : Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday for a total of 36 hours.
The 2 weeks are averaged to 42 hours per week pay, with a signed agreement form employee. This means a 3 day weekend every other week.
