Job Description:
Sandhu Produce is looking for full-time permanent Farm Manager(NOC 0821) to join their team.
Eligible candidate will be paid $ 26 /hour , will be working full time for 40 hours/week and will get overtime if worked more than 40 hours .
Vacation pay as 4% of the gross salary (will be paid on scheduled pay cheque)
Accommodation will be provided at $ 30/week .
Eligible Candidate must have completed Secondary School.Anu other diploma or degree will be an asset .
Should have minimum 2 years of related previous work experience in the farm setting.
Have basic knowledge of English language.
Job Duties:
Oversee the operations, coordination and supervision of field operations throughout the year
Manage the overall operation of the farm.
Determine the amount of fruit to be grown in farm
Manage the planting, cultivation and harvest blueberry crops for the farm.
, recruit, train and manage workers.
Establish a marketing program
Purchase farm machinery, seed and other supplies
Maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings
Develop and keep financial and production records, budgeting and maintaining accurate financial records
Enforces safety regulations and interprets policies.
Maintain & ensure product quality , marketing analysis and planning marketing strategies .
Essential Skills :Eligible Candidate must have organisational,planning,communication,delegation,decision making,problem solving skills,time management skills as these skills are essential to run a business and to achieve desired business objectives.
