Job Description:
Calautti Electric Ltd. is a leading electric company with the vision of a trustworthy and efficient electrical service provider. We try our best to provide the highest quality electrical services in Woodbridge by providing each of our clients with highly competent, trained, and licensed electricians. We are currently looking for a diligent and experienced Electrician (NOC 7241) on a permanent / full-time basis.
Position description (Main Duties)
• Read and understand electric schematic drawing, blueprints and recognize the assigned jobs and installations
• Run or fish electrical wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors
• Install, repair, replace electrical wiring, lighting fixtures, switches, motors, and circuit breaker panels utilizing hand tools and power tools
• Attach cables and wiring to fixtures and components such as resistors, capacitors and inductors to construct circuits
• Conduct continuity of circuit test using test equipment such as ohmmeters, voltmeters to ensure that all features of the circuit operates smoothly and efficiently
• Diagnose malfunctioning electrical system and apparatus, and components and locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
• Install ground leads and connect power to equipment, such as motors, switch gears, disconnects, splitters, panel boards and transformers
• Keep the record of maintenance and all equipment
Requirements
• Secondary school graduation certificate is required
• Trade Certification for electrician is required
• Minimum 4-years electrician work experience is required
• Having exceptional managerial skills and strong problem-solving skills are assets
Compensations and others
• Hourly rate at $ 35.00 per hour for minimum 30 hours a week at 52 weeks a year
• Vacation pay: 10 days paid vacation or 4% remuneration of total gross salary
• Work location: 5-71 Strada Drive Woodbridge ON L4L 5V8
• Work location varies, depends on job site
