As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by:
As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by:
Developing and supporting transportation plans including;
-Assist with project management on transportation planning and NEPA projects.
Review and apply procedures for compliance with environmental regulations under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
Collect and analyze social, economic and environmental data to be used in developing alternatives and in assessing potential impacts of proposed actions.
Prepare Feasibility and Corridor Study documents.
Prepare NEPA documents, including Categorical Exclusions (CEs), Environmental Assessments (EAs) and Environmental Impact Statements (EISs).
Prepare technical reports in compliance with agency guidance, policy and laws.
Develop data collection plans and existing conditions reports.
Support public involvement activities.
Update transportation plans and documents for FAST Act compliance including performance management and targets development.
Perform due diligence, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) procedures on various phases of studies, especially study documentation.

-Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, urban, community or regional planning.
-AICP, PTP, PE, CEP or approved certification in a related field. Or Master's degree in civil engineering, urban, community or regional planning.
-10 years of related experience with bachelors degree or 9 years of experience with Masters degree.
-Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
