Job Description:
 
Post-Doc Physiology
Employee Responsibilities:
Develop and execute functional cell assays
Plan and execute cell based experiments to address business questions
Relate experimental results to business needs and communicate results to broad audience
Work as part of a cross functional team to facilitate product development
The Ideal Candidate would possess:
2+ years of electrophysiology experience (path clamp, conventional and high throughput) and Ca+ imaging cell assays experience using microplate readers (Flex stations and FLIPR
Experience with mammalian cell culture
Knowledge of ionotropic receptors, GPCRs and ion channel physiology and biophysics
Strong computer, scientific and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and attention to details
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions and comply with company policies
Minimum Qualifications:
PhD degree in one of the following or similar fields;
Physiology / Biophysics
Neuroscience
Pharmacology
Biochemistry
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
