Position: Administrative Assistant, Full time, Permanent
Wage Rate: $22 per hour / 30 Hours per week / 4% vacation fee
Benefit: Dental and Extended Health after 3 month employment

Role Responsibilities Administrative Assistant
To complete the day-to-day operation (mail, emails, phone calls, team reports, website and social media sites)
To maintain inventory and order office supplies;
To liaise with special events coordinators and other individuals in the organizing of special events;
To prepare the weekly CUC bulletin, announcements, PowerPoint presentation, and other printed materials in collaboration with the minister(s);
To maintain the office filing system;
To coordinate the updating of bulletin boards and outdoor sign;
To maintain Church information; accept, record, and prepare invoices, prep monthly financial statements and distribute signed cheques as required;
To liaise with the Chair of Council and the Treasurer of Council in the follow-up and preparation of monthly Council meeting documents and reports
To provide efficient, timely, and productive management of the Church Office;
To maintain confidentiality of private information gained through performance of duties
To communicate with Council Chair and/or Lead Minister on issues that arise that may affect Council business/decisions

Job Requirements:
- 2 years of clerical work experience or college education in administrative assistant or secretarial studies
- High School graduation or higher
- Able to communicate in English
