Job Description:
Opportunity:
The Payroll Implementation Specialist must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment. This role will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of an electronic time and labor management system. Excellent communication skills will be expected, along with the ability to collaborate with multiple departments as programs, policies, and processes are designed and launched.


Primary Responsibilities:
• Spearhead and facilitate time and labor management (“TLM”) system implementation and migration as lead Project Manager
• Develop payroll strategies including process changes, process improvements and best practices
• Provide guidance on upstream time and attendance data collection to ensure minimal payroll exceptions
• Collaborate with Human Resource department to ensure census data and personnel master data are properly reflected in the payroll system and that automated interfaces are working effectively
• Upload or Input employee data into TLM system accurately and timely
• Work with operations and finance to continuously streamline end to end processes
• Ensure compliance with company internal policies and controls, external laws, regulatory guidelines and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local taxes
• Research and provide guidance on new tax issues
• Analyze, audit, reconcile and resolve complex payroll processing and employee payroll issues to ensure smooth payroll processing.


Job Requirements:
Experience/Skill Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree
• ADP or other TLM systems implementation experience
• 7 or more years of multi-state payroll experience for a company with more than 500 employees
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Must be attentive to confidentiality and privacy demands
• Working knowledge of Payroll Laws
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Must work well and effectively in a team environment
• Attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
• Process improvement mindset to improve efficiency
