Job Description:
Our selected Director will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the entire ministry program, correlating the various facets into a smoothly functioning entity that addresses the mission of the organization, as identified by the Board of Directors. Reports to the Board of Directors. Annual evaluation will be completed by the Board of Directors.


„« Coordinates and directs a not-for-profit agency: plans, coordinates, manages and directs all operations.
„« Establishes agency goals and objectives with Board of Directors
„« Keeps Board of Directors informed of all BUCM affairs enabling them to accurately evaluate services and make necessary changes.
„« Serves as role model for operating a not-for-profit organization by upholding fiduciary responsibility and maintaining confidentiality of all information.
„« Develops and monitors agency's public relations program.
„« Supervises quality and performance improvement initiatives
„« Ensures compliance with State and Federal regulations and maintains ongoing knowledge of current legislation regarding not for profit organizations.
„« Requires and maintains a high-quality staff to provide superior ministries.
„« Provides ongoing orientation, supervision and annual evaluation of staff.
„« Keeps staff informed regarding policies and procedures and develops and participates in educational programs, encouraging personal and professional growth.
„« Responsible for the overall fiscal management of the organization on a day-to-day basis.
„« Develops an annual capital and operating budget for review by the Board of Directors.
„« Provides full disclosure of all operating and financial details to auditing agencies.
„« Establishes and implements inventory control procedures to ensure that office supplies and materials are inventoried, controlled and ordered appropriately to prevent fraud, waste and abuse.
„« Develops an annual Fund Development plan including funding sources, special events and grant opportunities.
„« Responsible for identifying, writing and applying for all grant opportunities that are available to the organization.
„« Fosters atmosphere of openness, honesty, sincerity, caring, and respect, within the BUCM community.
„« Serves as liaison between BUCM and donors, sustaining churches, individual donors, businesses, volunteers and other community agencies.
„« Maintains excellent relationships with all primary constituencies-clients, sustaining churches, donors, volunteers, employees, and the communities we serve. Serves on committees and boards of community and professional groups that are relevant to the mission of BUCM.
„« Serves as a resource to all employees, answering questions and resolving problems regarding pay, benefits, policies and administrative issues.
„« Supervises all BUCM employees directly or through another staff member.
„« Assist in each area of the ministry, especially social work
„« Conduct presentations to community stakeholders

Job Requirements:

• Exhibits good oral and written communication skills, as well as exceptional listening and comprehension skills.
