Position Details:

We are looking to fill this position with a qualified, action-oriented and self-motivated individual who is capable of prioritizing and handling multiple demands simultaneously.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Collect information from clients and internal team members and conducts site visits to understand clients’ spaces, spatial requirements, constraints and opportunities

Identifies priority needs or planned changes, relocation or renewals in support of achieving client business needs

Develop detailed plans and 3-D models showing the arrangement of walls, furniture, divider, equipment, etc, using AutoCAD software

Work with contractors to customize office furniture to meet the spatial needs of clients

Prepare plans and specifications for the final designs and present to clients

Estimate costs of planning, alternation and customization and moving services and communicate with clients

Liaison with site work crews and contractors to ensure the space plan will be carried out as planned

Ensure the planning/designing to be in accordance with current practices and codes

Offers value-added solutions by providing cost-beneficial alternatives. Coordinates with Project Management and client business groups to ensure best solution and optimal turnover of projects

Incorporates sustainable practices, where practical, into space planning delivery, in accordance with the company's processes

Responds quickly to client requests. Ensures proper and timely reporting and systems inputs.

Performs other duties, as assigned


Job Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:


University degree or college diploma in design, architecture or drafting

Working knowledge of project management, design, move management, construction and scheduling as well as knowledge of various furniture systems, interiors, materials, and finishes

Software proficiencies related to the assignment – MS Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook; AutoCAD; etc.

Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously

Results-oriented

Strong client service skills

Strong analytical, problem solving and conflict management skills
