Job Description:
The Kids Fun Factory(KFF)Dartmouth is the largest indoor playground in Nova Scotia. It has more options for children 0-13 years old and family members near Dartmouth Crossing. We operates from 9 am to 9 pm as a drop-in center for parents with children who need a couple hours to do chores, take care of business, shop, go to medical appointments, etc. We have over 6,000 square feet of FUN ! Our Four level play structure includes: ball shooter systems, plastic slides, LED slide, tubes, soft toys, ball pool, separated toddler area, climbing wall, trampoline, bridges, mini game court and more to explore. It is a safe environment for your kids. Just watch them creating fun in our Fun Factory. Also, celebrate your loved one’s special occasion using our special party rooms!

Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Terms of Employment: Full time, Permanent
Hourly wage: $15/hour
Location: Dartmouth, Nova Scotia
Working hours: 40 hours/week

Job Duties:
1.Receive, distribute and organize emails/mails from customers, utility companies and governmental agencies etc.
2.Answer and redirect phone calls to appropriate personnel. Respond and answer general customer inquiries from our social media accounts
3.Greet walk-in customers and register their names on waiting list and direct them to appropriate waiting areas if playground is full
4.Check the stock quantities and order office or party/special event supplies if necessary
5.Confirm the scheduled meeting with customers
6.Confirm reservation for party room for birthday or other special-themed events
7.Set up registration form and activity schedule for summer camps. Record and confirm parents’ emergency contact information
8.Explain and remind children and guardians of safety rules before they use playground equipment
9.Set up maintenance schedule and call in technician if there equipment are in need of urgent repair
10.Collect feedback from customers and follow up with complaints as needed
11.Assist with printing brochures and its distribution to reach more customers


Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
1. A college degree is required
2. 1 year of experience working in office administration role
3. Experience working with children and parents are preferred
