Job Description:


An environmental company is looking for a Human Resources Generalist who will help build the future of the company as they aim to provide their employees with best-in-class HR practices. You will assist in the development and implementation of Human Resources specific policies and programs. This opportunity is perfect for someone who has an HR background specifically with employee relations and benefits administration.
Responsibilities



  • Provide HR support and consultation to the business, answering employee and manager questions about HR programs, and other HR related items.

  • Provide high touch, results-oriented interactions with employees and managers.

  • Facilitate manager and employee training.

  • Participate in large scale change efforts.

  • Understand labor laws, legislations, employment practices and policies and ensure compliance within the region.

  • Understands the importance of and protects employee/company information by keeping it confidential.

  • Coordinate with attorneys on immigration matters as needed.

  • Act as a internal consultant for employees to advise on concerns regarding company policies/practices.

  • Partner with HR Manager and leadership to communicate Human Resources policies, procedures, and programs.

  • Participate in investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth.

  • Assume other responsibilities as assigned by the Human Resources Manager.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in HR or relevant field.

  • Must have broad HR knowledge including, employee relations, total rewards, performance management, compliance, talent management etc.

  • Prior experience in supporting implementation of HR programs and procedures to improve overall operations and organizational effectiveness is preferred.

  • Passion to grow a career in HR and make an impact.

  • Strong execution skills and orientation - possessing initiative and capability to support programs and projects.
