We are an award winning not-for-profit and social enterprise that currently operates seven business units in addition to the organizationís core mandate. We provide direct support to over 200 Albertanís annually with a range of day-supports and living options including; 24 hour supervised complex care, peer-support and independent living, senior care, brain injury survivor support, mental illness and respite care.

We are looking for a Team Leader/Disability Support Services
This position is located in St. Paul, Alberta
It would be necessary for the candidate to live within 1 hr. travel distance from St. Paul, AB.

The Team Leader is an experienced individual who provides:

Primary supervision to front line staff.

Service plans for those with more complex disabilities

Coordination of assessments,

Person-centered planning, and plan implementation.

2-3 years of Supervisory Experience who can:

Model and help others develop healthy relationships and positive interactions.

Motivate staff and co-workers in their professional growth.

Oversee staff assisting individuals to complete daily tasks

Encourage our clients with intellectual disabilities to pursue healthy living choices.

Assist individuals with employment, social, community, and residential environments

Develop person centered support plans.

Provide professional and timely communication to families, parents, staff, government and supervisors.

Mentor and lead your team by displaying a positive attitude and the ability to motivate others

You will:

Demonstrate skill in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and those you supervise

Diploma or degree in the Community Disability Services field

Show progressive experience working with more complex disabled individuals and other specialized training

Demonstrate supervisory experience and organizational ability
