Job Description:

The Benefits Analyst III, under general direction, analyzes and develops policies and benefit plans covering accident and health insurance coverage, retirement and pension plans, income continuance, holidays, and vacations.




  • Determines and maintains equity with current benefit trends and legislated requirements and programs on an ongoing basis.

  • Monitors experience (i.e., claims, administration fees, utilization) of all benefit plans.

  • Develops policies regarding benefit plans.

  • Analyzes costs and develops recommendations for enhancement/improvement to benefit plans.

  • Responds to benefit-related inquiries and questions.

  • Implements approved changes to benefit plans.

  • Composes employee benefits-related communications.

  • Prepares and submits legally-required filings.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements




  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Minimum of 5 years Benefits Administration experience.

  • Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures in Benefits Administration.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to credibly influence others with his/her point of view.

  • Ability to understand and add value to Dean's business.

  • Ability to deliver and execute high-quality and consistent Human Resources processes and services.

  • Ability to align programs and services with Company's overall vision.

  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.

  • Skill in organization, prioritization, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.

  • Strong team player with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.
