Job Description:

Title: Business Development Representative - Inside Sales

Summary: ARC specializes in Printing, Graphics, and Technology. You will be working with our Document and Technology teams, with a major focus on setting appointments for the Business Consultants.

What you can expect to do:

  • Daily entry of client interactions using our CRM system, including but not limited to calls and emails.

  • Minimum of 60 logged calls per day, unless you are attending an event representing ARC; such as trade shows, golf tournaments, open houses, and client events.

  • Set appointments for Business Consultants with past clients that are no longer actively doing business with us as well as prospects.

  • Utilizing pre-built systems and protocols to optimize performance and streamline daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities.

  • Actively engage past clients who no longer do business with us to earn their business back and seek out new client leads through cold calling and referrals.

  • Contacting all inactive clients within Region 1 to the effect of no inactive client going longer than 6 months without hearing from you.

  • Researching your clients. What they do as a company, what work they have done with us in the past, and what areas they have not used us for; and if possible, the reason we lost their business. Proper utilization of this information to customize your sales approach per client.

  • Notifying the team of any events in your sales territory that ARC may benefit from having a presence at.

  • Proper delegation to support teams and communication to departments on needed assistance to optimize your ability to sell.

  • Participation in educational opportunities, training sessions, industry events and organizations, and maintaining personal networks

  • Professional communication skills; both verbally and in written form

  • Can prepare and present to all levels within client organization.

  • Effective scheduler; managing your time properly so you can focus on your meetings while promptly addressing any client or company needs.

  • Competitive but not combative; willingness to work as a team.

  • Ability to lead but willingness to follow.

  • General understanding of technology

  • Experience with prospecting, cold calling, needs assessment, and building/managing a sales pipeline.

  • Specific software knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and Google Docs

Education: Highschool diploma or equivalent
