Summary: To perform laboratory QC Microbiological testing for in-process and finished product, water sampling testing, and routine and batch processing environmental monitoring in aseptic classified cleanrooms.

•Perform routine and process environmental monitoring in aseptic manufacturing (Grade A/B/C/D) cleanroom environment on 1st shift.
•Perform clean utilities (compressed air, Nitrogen, WFI/DIW and Clean Steam) sampling and testing.
•Perform Bioburden, Endotoxin, Total Plate Count, Coliform, Bacteriostasis & Fungistasis (B&F), Sterility Testing and Biological Indicator testing.
•Perform inventory of materials and waste handling.
•Write/review material specifications and perform material qualifications (media and reagents).
•Initiate and investigate microbiology related deviations, OOS/OOT investigations, and implementing appropriate CAPAs as needed
•Perform routine QC responsibilities such as sample coordination, lab equipment maintenance, QC document management, QC inventory control and reconciliation of sample requests/documents, as needed.
•Monitor laboratory equipment for temperature, humidity, etc., and conformance to specifications

Job Requirements:
•4- Year Bachelors Degree in Biology or other related science degrees. Master Degree is preferable, but not required. 
•Minimum 1 year of Quality Control Microbiology experience in an aseptic cleanroom EM experience. For 0 years of experience, research lab experience in the field of biology or biotechnology is required.
•Flexible working hours including weekends. Rotation schedule for Sundays is required (at a minimum of 1x per month)
•Knowledge of Trackwise and Laboratory Information System (LIMS) is a plus
•Good teamwork, communication and writing skills.
•Attentive to detail.
•Competent in use of Microsoft Office programs.
•Flexibility in work schedule
•Ability to stand on feet for up to four hours at a time
•Be able to lift, push, and /or pull up to 25 pounds
•Be able to independently gown for aseptic processing;
•Meet minimal visual acuity requirements necessary for quality assessments in a production or packaging environment
•Able to move freely around in a manufacturing environment, including moving about on stairs, and ladders, and in and around machines with moving parts.
