Job Description:
In this position, you would apply strong HRIS technical configuration, report development, analytical and troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail working with our CDM Smith’s HR systems group. Responsibilities would include: • Provide support to HR function groups including, but not limited to Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Learning Management and Absence Management. Support to include configuration, testing, documentation and implementation of new system functionality. • Participate in enterprise initiatives to enhance overall system architecture, help to represent the HR system and integration requirements on projects. • Improve HR processes by leveraging or redesigning existing technology or creating new, more efficient processes. • Coordinate process documentation and procedures to ensure accurate business workflow and data entry. Generate complex human resources reports and program custom reports; set up reports to be automatically generated by end-users. Develop complex report specifications and work closely with Business Technology to test and implement. • Maintain, edit and create custom fields, lists of values, and personalize screens to meet users’ needs. Empower and train HR users to perform system activities (encompassing data entry, reporting, data comprehension, and navigation of system modules). • Stay up-to-date on system enhancements, maintain thorough knowledge of HRIS programs and systems, including new system releases, software packages and hardware. Participate in testing of new system functionality delivered through patches and new releases. • Perform regular data integrity checks and audits to ensure the HR system data is accurate and complete. • Support various other HR groups to leverage HR system data to support business processes.
• Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or computer science required. • 5 years of related experience, at least 4 in an HRIS role • Ability to compile and present meaningful data using formulas, pivot tables, and charts. • Expert knowledge with relational databases, spreadsheet tools and HRMS programs.
