Farm Worker

Terms of Employment: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: As Soon As Possible
Wage: $13.85 per hour. 35-40 hours a week.
Location of Work: Eagle Road Mission BC V2V4J1
Job Duties:
• Plant, prunes, weeds, cultivate and harvest berries.
• Operate farm machinery and equipment.
• Maintain and repair farm equipment.
• Report to and follow the directions of a farm Supervisor.
• Other general farm duties as assigned.
Skills Requirements
Working Abilities and Physical Capabilities:
Heavy lifting required Ability to work long hours, early mornings and weekends are required
Ability to work outdoors in All weather conditions.
Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Standing for extended periods;
Bending, crouching, kneeling most of the time.
Education: No degree or Diploma required.
Experience: No experience required. On job training will be provided.
Language: English
Benefits: Relocation expenses will be covered by the employer; Transportation costs to work location will be covered by the employer; Overtime will be given after regular hours; 4% Vacation pay.
