Position Overview


Exciting opportunity for tenacious sales professional to lead the way in expanding a well-established and respected tradeshow for the real estate industry. The Account Executive will be responsible for creating and executing sales strategies to maximize exhibit space and sponsorship sales for C.A.R.'s annual conference as well as other C.A.R. events.

Responsibilities



  • Generate exhibit booth and sponsorship sales to existing and potential exhibitors.

  • Sell additional promotional opportunities, along with print and digital advertising to help exhibitors meet their sales and marketing goals.

  • Achieve and exceed short- and long-term revenue targets.

  • Prospect for new business and provide new revenue-generating opportunities to existing vendors.

  • Develop strong relationships with customers.

  • Work closely with the Marketing team to develop creative sales messages and marketing promotions.

  • Identify, research, and implement new growth areas for sales.

  • Travel to conferences, trade shows, and in-person client meetings as needed.

  • Help coordinate design of exhibit hall.

  • Manage exhibit hall during conferences.


Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum 3 years sales experience.

  • Tradeshow background is a plus.

  • Outstanding interpersonal, oral, written, presentation, and customer service skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

  • Knowledge of contact management database a plus.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to function effectively in a variety of challenging situations and circumstances, including difficult project deadlines, demanding customers, tight budgets, and evolving goals and objectives.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to solve practical problems, take direction, multi-task and prioritize.
