Job Description:
World class organization located in Ashland, PA is seeking a highly experienced, high-performance Human Resource/Safety Manager to oversee all aspects of the Human Resources and Environmental, Health and Safety Department to include all Human Resources and EHS programs, policies and procedures.

Duties Include:

Workforce stability as indicated by turnover rate, absenteeism, work uninterrupted by labor strikes, etc.
Safety performance as indicated by Recordable Incident Rate, Lost Workday rate, and Compensation costs
Environmental and regulatory compliance as measured through internal and external audits
Workforce training implemented to meet business needs
Benefits administered in a cost effective manner
Responsible for implementation and administration of company programs
Assure that all HR and ESH policies comply with State & Federal Laws
Responsible for labor relations activities within the plant to include grievances, processing and contract negotiations
Administers the wage and compensation program and make recommendations based on competitive and labor market
Supervises the administration of all benefit programs and monitors fullback and program costs
Responsible for the Safety Program and effective administration of Workers Compensation
Directs recruitment, selection, orientation and training activities for the plant
Assist supervisors with mandatory training requirements; provide technical assistance/support to management/supervision
Conduct Safety Project Review for new installations and major modifications for existing facilities
Review new equipment/machinery for regulatory compliance
Accident investigation & root cause analysis
Serve as facility liaison with federal/state/local agencies as they relate to HR and Safety
Other duties as assign


Job Requirements:
Qualifications:

10 Years of experience working in Human Resources/Employee Relations
Bachelors degree in related field preferred
Knowledge of state, local and federal laws pertaining to HR and EHS
Experience in labor relations
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem solving skills
