Job Description:

Responsible for developing and managing digital content processes, tools, and assets used in product management, marketing, and sales activity in Snap-on Industrial. Accomplishments in this position will enable Snap-on Industrial to serve its customers and the Solutioneers with world class digital product information and sales material. This position is accountable for ongoing maintenance of content and management of the user experience of the Snap-on Industrial intranet site. This position requires a highly sensitive cross-functional instinct and work style. Experience in designing and executing digital process adoption and change management programs in non-technical environment is highly desirable.

  • Responsible for design and development of digital content architecture and management of digital product and commerce information for the Snap-on product line.

  • Use Marketer’s Studio and Asset Manager extensively and expertly to develop, manage, and put digital content to use.

  • Implement digital product information development and input process for new products, product launches, and catalogs.

  • Collaborate with internal (Product Management, Marketing, Sales, IT) and external partners in producing and deploying digital content across sales and marketing platforms.

  • Identify and manage technology partners for fulfilling development of digital content architecture and usage, and management.

  • Continually improve digital content based on category and product level performance analytics from internal sources and external sources such as Google, Amazon, etc.

  • Responsible for assuring that Snap-on Industrial stakeholders have appropriate familiarity with digital content strategies, tactics, and tools by one-on-one contact, update meetings, and training events.

  • Manage the Snap-on Industrial Information Center intranet site, including ensuring a consistent flow of product and promotional information as support to the selling process.

  • Supervise Industrial Communications Coordinator.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline required.

  • 2+ years related work experience which includes high-volume, hands-on experience with digital content tools like Marketer’s Studio and Asset Manager or similar technologies. Experience using Titan.

  • Progressive vision of how digital content tools can be used in a rapidly evolving product information and digital content environment.

  • Familiarity with digital product and marketing content best practices and deployment in B2B, B2C, and leading brand contexts.

  • Proficient in cross-functional communications to lead and advance assigned initiatives.

  • Develop and deploy project management strategies and schedules within generally defined procedures and practices.

  • Work independently on initiatives as directed, exercise judgment and focus attention to detail on digital assets development and management activities.

  • Ability to provide leadership and training in relevant digitally-based activities and tools for less experienced users.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies, tactics, and technologies, including but not limited to SEO, pay per click, video, social media, etc.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite products

  • Prior supervisor experience or leading large projects teams, a plus.

  • Some travel will be required (approximately 10%).
