Youth care worker: The Youth Care Worker is responsible for providing direct care supervision for youth residing in Southwest Key Programs (SWK) care fostering an environment that facilitates learning and behavioral management in a supportive manner. The Youth Care Worker will maintain a flexible, organized, and efficient work schedule.

Cook: The Cook is responsible for food preparation for the youth at the shelter during the assigned shift.

Clinician: The Clinician is responsible for providing mental health assessment and counseling intervention services, as well as continually monitoring and documenting clients’ mental well-being and overall adjustment to the Unaccompanied Minors program. The Clinician’s functions are performed as part of a multi-disciplinary team and include development and implementation of client therapeutic plans, facilitating transfers, and reunification planning. All duties will be performed based on education, training and certified counseling experience within the social service field. The Clinician is subject to work extended hours and weekends, and to be on-call.

Case Manager: The Case Manager is responsible for the submission of service plans and other assessments required for the compiling of a comprehensive case file found on Southwest Key Programs designated web-based program with supporting documentation maintained in physical files. The Case Manager is required to maintain a flexible, organized and efficient work schedule and is subject to work extended hours, weekends, and be on-call.

Medical Coordinator: The Medical Coordinator is responsible for assessing, facilitating and monitoring all components of client medical services.


Job Requirements:
Bilingual in Spanish and English

Case Manager qualifications:Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling or other social service field.
1 year experience preferred working with adolescents or in the youth services field. (volunteer and internship experienced included)

Clinician qualifications:Qualifications: A combination of one of the following:
Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) Counseling, Psychology or other relevant behavioral science field in which clinical training and experience is a program requirement and two years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience
Two years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience preferred conduction clinical interviewing and assessment, as well as individual and group counseling.
Licensed or license eligible in respective field (to include but not limited to: LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
Experience working with children, youth, and/or families from high-risk backgrounds.

Medical coordinator qualifications:
Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED and certified Medical Assistant (CMA). Must have passed the appropriate examination from an accredited U.S institution – CMA/CCMA/ARMA/NCCT (license required by the state of CA) OR Associates degree in nursing of medical sciences (e.g. LVN) and Licensure according to State requirements.
Minimum 1 year of full-time experience in a hospital, clinic, medical record department or physician’s office. (including any volunteer or internship experience)
OR
High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of on the job experience performing the clinical and clerical duties of a traditional medical assistant in a hospital, clinic, medical record department or physician’s office. (Including any volunteer or internship experience).
Must be willing to present your registration as a Medical Assistant to ARMA (American Registry of Medical Assistants) within three months of employment OR pass your exam within 6 months of employment with an accredited institution.
